EO2U/Cheat Codes

This is a list of cheat codes for Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight. They can be used with the Citra emulator or tools such as Luma3DS Cheat Engine or CTRPluginFramework. All codes in this page use hexadecimal numbers.

Time Change

Replace the part highlighted in red to change the time of the day. The time starts at 0am for 00 and increases by 1 hour for every 01 increase in the value, up to 11pm for 17.

A value greater than 17 will cause UI glitches. This could be a non-existent time, such as 15pm, a duplication of the element showing the time or a white screen. These visual glitches can be resolved by walking through the dungeon or by leaving the dungeon.

Day Changer

Replace the part highlighted in red to change the day of the year. The calendar starts at Emperor 1 for 00000000 and increases by 1 day for every 00000001 increase in the value, up to Summooner for 0000016C. Changing days doesn't change the respawn of bosses and FOEs.

A value greater than 0000016C is possible, day will cycle back to Emperor 1 at 0000016D so it's possible to have the same day with different value. A value greater than 80000000 will display "Emperor" without a day of the month or "Emperor 0" as the current day.

Money

Replace the part highlighted in red to change the current money held. The value should be between 00000000 (0 en) and 05F5E0FF (99,999,999 en).

A value greater than 05F5E0FF is possible, but only the first 9 digits are displayed. If the player have more than FFFFFFFF Ental, for example by settings FFFFFFFF in this code and selling an item, the value will overflow. If the value is between 05F5E0FF and 7FFFFFFF, if the player earn Ental, for example by selling an item, this value will be updated to 05F5E0FF. If the value is greater than 80000000, if the player spend Ental the value will be updated to 00000000.

Replace the part highlighted in red to change the class of the character. The value can be between 0 and E. It doesn't change stats or equipment. If an equipment can't be used by the new class of the character it will still be equipped but once unequipped it can't be re-equipped. If Skill Points were allocated in the base class, some skills in the new class will have skill points allocated. It can lead to some skill having a Skill Points even if the conditions are not met. If used on Classic Mode, this code updates the portrait of the character with their class. If the class is changed to Fafnir, the character will use the portraits of War Magus. The table below shows the class associated to their values.

Replace the part highlighted in red to change current Force of the character. The value can be between 00 and 64. If the value is between 64 and 7F, the in game value will be MAX. If the value is greater than 80, the displayed value will be 1194D700 + value, but in battle the value will be updated to 0. If the Force Break was used, it will not be restored.

Replace the part highlighted in red and blue to change current and MAX HP and TP of the character. The value can be between 0000 and 7FFF. If HP is set to 0 with this code the character will not be dead. If this code is used to change HP of a dead character, they will still be dead. If the value is between 270F and 7FFF, in Status the displayed value will be 9999 even if in battle HP and TP have the real value. Replace the part highlighted in red to change STR, in blue to change VIT, in orange to change LUC, in cyan to change AGI and in pink to change TEC. For every stat, the first value changes the displayed stat and the second value changes the real value used in battle. The value should be between 0000 and 7FFF. If the value is greater than 0063, the status menu will display 99 even if the value used in battle is greater. If the value is greater than 8000, the value will be negative, even if the status menu will display 0.

ATK and DEF stats are updated automatically depending and STR and VIT stats if they are modified.

Replace the part highlighted in red to update the current total EXP of the character. The value can be between 00000000 and 7FFFFFFF. If the value is enough to level up the character, the character will level up after a battle. If the total EXP is inferior to the EXP required for a character's level, the level will not downgrade, but the required EXP to the next level will be higher.

Replace the part highlighted in red to change the number of stored items in Ducal Restaurant. The value should be between 00 and FF. A value greater than 63 is possible. This code applies to all stored items, including equipments. The number is not displayed for equipment, as it is not stackable. With this code it is possible to have stacked equipment, but this is not displayed. When this happens, it's possible to retrieve the same equipment several times while keeping it in storage.

Replace the part highlighted in red to change the value before next encounter. The value should be between 0000 (0%) and 4374 (100%).

Replace the part highlighted in blue to change button to press to apply the code. 4 is Select and 8 is Start.

Removing the part in yellow will update the encounter value once, you will need to turn it off and on again for it to work. If the code is activated with the part in yellow, it should be activated before starting the game to have effect.
