Overview
Medics are the best healers you can bring into the labyrinths of every game in which they appear. They have a cure for any injury or ailment sustained from the various enemies and monsters encountered there, so long as they remain standing themselves. On that point, Medics lack defensive strength, so they rely on others of the party to shield them from damage. Another weakness of theirs is modest speed, so they may at times be too slow to save a comrade, but later iterations in the series provide temporary boosts to help. When the party is healthy and safe, Medics have a few skills that allow them to continue helping in the fight.

- The Medic's skill tree holds a few references to the Trauma Center series, another game made by Atlus:
- Caduceus is a common medical symbol that refers to the staff carried by Hermes, which is often mistaken for the Rod of Asclepius, held by the Greek god of medicine. Caduceus is also the name of a major organization from Trauma Center that employs most of its cast.
- The Healing Touch (超医術) is a superpower used by Trauma Center protagonists that lets them accomplish incredible medical feats. This is conveyed as the Medic's Force skill/Force Break that fully heals and revives the team.
