This page has information about subclasses for the Sovereign class in Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City. In the North American version of the original Nintendo DS game, the Sovereign class is known as the Prince/Princess class.

Arbalist
Buccaneer
- Buccaneer supplements Sovereign's kit with Eagle Eye, which allows them to debuff their enemies' defense.
- Limit Boost allows Sovereign to use supportive Limit Skills such as Regroup Tactic and Uroboros Guard more frequently, which can be beneficial on turns when buffing using Sovereign's base kit is not required.

Monk
Sovereign/Monk is for the fully supportive Sovereign; in between supplying buffs they would provide active emergency healing or cleanse ailments. However, this makes for a very busy Sovereign with great TP pressure.
- Level 4 Unbind and Refresh affect rows, often enough range for a Sovereign to cure half the party (whichever isn't protected by Prevent Order)
- Resurrect helps get fallen party members back up and saves on Nectars.
Ninja
- Creating a clone with Bunshin (called Ninpo: Double in Etrian Odyssey III HD) allows for the use of two "Order" skills in the same turn, in order to buff both rows.
