Overview
Pasaran is a unique rare FOE that appears across the labyrinth. It uses a gold FOE icon, can flee from the player both in the labyrinth and in combat and can move through walls into unreachable areas to escape. Pasarans move one tile per four player steps.
The first four strata each host a different variant of the Pasaran, each with their own Codex entry, stat block, moves and EXP despite sharing the same name. The first Pasaran with both arms down spawns in the Waterfall Wood; the second, facing to the player's right, spawns in the Undersea Grotto; the third, facing left, in the Molten Caves, and the fourth, with both arms up, in the Abyssal Shrine. The fifth and sixth strata instead spawn Blue Pasaran.
Each floor has two set Pasaran spawn points and they will only appear if enough of the floor is explored. Once the spawning conditions are fulfilled, each step taken in a specific region of the floor has a 1-3% chance of spawning a Pasaran and resting with a Tent has a 20-25% chance of spawning a Pasaran.[1]
Once a Pasaran is defeated, it will not spawn from that point until 14 in-game days have passed. Pasarans spawned by walking about and by resting in Tents have independent timers, so a single floor can spawn up to four Pasarans at once[1].
